Thank you for logging onto Faithbuilder Ministries formerly Faithbuilder International and our web site www.faithbuilder.ws The purpose and idea of this website is to lift and strengthen Christians, backsliders, or NEW Believers. Some of these short audio messages are faithbuilders, and some are Biblical stories, everyday stories, some with scriptures. We also thank Pastor Greg Albreacht, Monte Wolverton of Plain Truth Ministries, Pastor Terry Somerville of Total Change Ministries and others for giving us permission to use or modify some of their sermons to use on our web site..
After correspondence courses some courses I am still on right now, I received my ordained papers as a Pastor May 22 2007 from just outside Chicago U.S.A. After having an inspiration (vision) back in 1990) to start a Christian FM radio station in three places, one did come true, in Lethbridge Alberta Canada. Spirit 97 FM as the hook name was called Spirit 97 FM (Spirit Broadcasting Ltd.) CJTS started testing in November 2000, and went on air Dec. 19th 2000 just before Christmas with Christmas programming & music. Most legal CRTC call letters have no real significance, but CJTS for me was "Christ Jesus The Spirit".
The station although it had a rough financial start and finished, managed (thanks to the Lord) stay on-air under my ownership for almost six years. Then it was sold to a multi-large company Golden West Broadcasting under Elmer Hildebrand September 1st 2006. Now called CKVN F.M. (press here for sale of Spirit 97 FM CJTS-FM). As a Pastor of my Christian FM radio I had many days of solitude with the Lord, many days, weeks, months and years of counseling people, many days of solid prayer, which was very needed in that ministry.
In approximately 2002, I had a vision and helped start a new vineyard church in Lethbridge Alberta, called "The Bridge Family Church (soon to be "The Bridge Family Vineyard Church"). I was the founder (visionary), administrator, P&W Leader, and co-pastor under best friend Pastor Blake Waters. Yes, I had a ton of hats but it was do-able because the Lord was guiding me. We had 40 people at our first service, which some churches have as an every week count, but unfortunately due to two people in our new leadership that had division with us, our small church plant only lasted 5 months.
In 2004 I still owned the FM Radio station in Lethbridge Alberta Spirit 97 FM, but decided to semi-retire and move back to a place I always loved, the ocean and Campbell River, British Columbia. I also have a son living in Campbell River, so it was nice to be closer and try and get to know him better, which hasn't happened to this day yet.
My ex-wife Linda (of whom we're still friends) and I moved here to Campbell River, British Columbia early in 2004, and she loved the area as well. However, due to past radio station nightmares and always being against it despite it being my vision, we parted company and divorced a few years ago.
I tried to start a new Christian FM station here in Campbell River, but after $5,000.00 for the application (non-refunable) and being turned down by the CRTC (press here for the CRTC decision) It was to be called Spirit FM as well and was CHVI "Christ Has Vancouver Island" 88.7 on the FM dial. Well I didn't get it and through past attacks and so on I just stopped trying and said enough is enough. (Forever And Ever AMEN)!!!
So since leaving my radio and counseling ministries, I have worked on a few various projects but nothing that was this exciting until now with Faithbuilder a new ministry. I believe God has told me to do. I was telling a friend Darlene H who was in my Christian band here with me about this and did a sample audio for grading, and she was the one who came up with the name for me by saying "You are sort of a faithbuilder to many. So with this idea, I gave it the name right away and proceeded to copyright it as well. Although there are many using the hook name Faithbuilder even like we do with the name all one word.
So, I decided to do it anyway, regardless. Then three of my pastor buddies who have all pastored churches for over 28 years and more say this was my calling. With 46 years as a broadcaster, talk show host on TV and radio for many years, this was definitely my niche and calling in Pastoral work. Then after a dozen messages were out on the net, pastor friends and other Christian and non Christians heard my messages, they said the same thing, and gave me some special encouragement and they still are.
The majority of comments I have heard, about the faithbuilder ministry is that it is nice to hear messages with clarity, ones that are short to the point, and some are very controversial. Most audio messages are between 7 minutes and 15 minutes and you will never hear some of these messages in Church not even during evening services. We dive into the book of Revelation and some hard blunt controversial topics as well.
The messages are short so that most will remember them which is hard to do at Church when most preach for 40 minutes to an hour. Decisive, precise messages to the point serve more at 7 minutes to 15 minutes than some stretched out and 40 minutes long, see what you think and let us know!
Again, thank you all very much for your continued encouragement, feedback and prayers.
